Design & Build
The style is traditional Redmi. As expected from Xiaomi, it seems elegant and buttery smooth. Compared to the Note 11, the rear camera design appears more contemporary and current. It has that simple, refined style.
As usual, the front has a punch-hole display in the middle. Only 7.9 mm thick. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, and the body has IP53 certification for dust and splash resistance.
Overall, it’s a terrific value and an improvement over the previous generation’s design, but the build quality hasn’t altered much.
Display
The larger 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display offers a great viewing experience. A Samsung AMOLED panel, rather than a standard Xiaomi AMOLED screen, was employed by Xiaomi.
Additionally, we now have an improved 120 Hz refresh rate instead of 90Hz and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits instead of 1000 nits.
